Anthony “Tony” Grey is Vice President, Studio Supply. Tony is a General Manager and Operations specialist with more than 15 years of experience leading cross functional teams. His areas of expertise include retail field operations, customer service management, and strategic business development.
After earning a Bachelor’s degree in English from the College of William and Mary, he transformed his literary passion into a career with Borders Books & Music, climbing the ranks to manage multiple store locations in the Pacific Northwest. Despite challenging economic conditions, Tony’s stores achieved significant sales growth through delivering exceptional service and aggressively pursuing corporate account business. From Borders, Tony moved on to Lakeshore Learning Materials, where he managed the flagship West Los Angeles store location, then got promoted to Purchasing management. There, Tony identified opportunities to bridge critical gaps in understanding between the home office and the retail field, developing training and new processes that delivered improvements in sales, service, and inventory turns.
Since completing his MBA at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, Tony has applied and strengthened his strategic management skills through consulting engagements across diverse companies and industries, including projects aligned with his interests in environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and endurance sports.
