Founded at Barrandov Studios and with offices in Prague, Sofia and Los Angeles, Starlite Productions delivers comprehensive services in feature film and television production, event promotion and music event organization. Starlite operates in the international market as a partner for foreign production companies, providing them a full range of services in audio-visual production. In the local market, we work with major advertising agencies in creating audio-visual materials for advertising campaigns and other forms of communication. Starlite regularly works with foreign production companies and Studios such as Revolution Productions, Warner Bros. Universal, Tiger Aspect, New Line Cinema, Disney, Spy Glass Entertainment, Velocity Films, Bender Cine and Mustard. The company has produced spots and corporate films for clients such as SAB Miller, Danone, Vodafone, GE Money bank, Intersnack, L’Oréal. In addition, the company works with numerous non-profit organizations including Tereza Maxová Foundation, Czech Paralympic Team and BESIP. Starlite’s recent feature film credits include Hellboy (directed by Guillermo del Toro and produced by Lawrence Gordon, Lloyd Levin and Mike Richardson).
Starlite works closely with many experienced Czech and foreign directors. Starlite Productions in particular benefits from its young and progressive team, whose members are in direct contact with the young upcoming generation of authors and creative artists.
Starlite Productions is a member of the Association of Producers in Audiovision, CFP-Europe (European Federation of Commercial Film Producers). Starlite Productions operates its offices in Prague, Sofia and Los Angeles. In addition, Starlite will soon open an offices in London and in Belgrade, and additional European cities are coming soon.
Starlite Films, a subsidiary of Starlite Productions, specializes in producing Czech feature films, including the recently-wrapped “Bestiar” (The Bestiary) directed by Irena Pavlaskova’s based on Bara Nesvadbova’s bestseller, and other Czech full-length films in the pipeline include “Saezenky a Machri po 25 letech” (Snowflowers and Butches After 25 Years) and “Cervena devitka” (Red Nine).
The founder of Starlite Productions is Petr Keller. The company is a successor of the former firm called Partnership Films. Its prior activities included the production of commercial spots, music video clips, feature films, corporate films, TV programs and events. Petr is Vice-President of the Association of Producers in Audiovision and a co-founder of the Czech Film Commission.
