Sun Center Studios

On June 10, 2010, Pacifica broke ground on its next facility in eastern Pennsylvania just outside Philadelphia.  Opened in April 2011, The state-of-the-art Sun Center Studios features two brand-new 20,000 sq. ft. soundstages with attached 30,000 sq. ft. production office space, plus two additional converted stages.  The studio also includes mill and construction space, lighting & grip and back-lot space.

Philadelphia based filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan, eager to be the first client at the new studio, filmed scenes for The Last Airbender on the future studio back-lot before construction even began, and was the first filmmaker in the new stages with Sony/Columbia’s After Earth starring Will Smith.  Subsequent productions at the studio include Warner Bros. Creed and sequel Creed II, Universal’s Glass and Split, Shyamalan’s The Visit21 Bridges starring Chadwick Boseman and The Upside starring Bryan Cranston, Kevin Hart and Nicole Kidman.
